We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2019, at the age of 86, Sherry Eugene Awtrey (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Griffin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebert Awtrey and Lydia Awtrey; and her brothers, Sherman E. Awtrey of Griffin, GA and Major Samuel J. Awtrey of Columbus, GA.. She is survived by: her wife Dora Ann Easler Awtrey; her sons, Richard E. Awtrey (Rebecca), Michael S. Awtrey and Randall D. Awtrey (Marie); and her stepsons, Kenneth L. Prewitt and Michael Greg Prewitt (Melanie). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
