He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah G. Grainger; and his siblings, Waterman, Lavern, Edna Moore, Pearline "Connie" James, Evelyn Bailes, Frances Watts and Esterlene Renfroe.
He is survived by: his sons, Gavin Grainger (Laura) and Garon Grainger (Mary); and his granddaughters, Katie Grainger, Emma Grainger, Grayson Grainger and Gentry Grainger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
