She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Maston and Betty Mae Chavis Seals; her sister Phyllis Seals; and her nephew Jamie Seals. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Simmons, Sr.; her children, Robert Simmons Jr., Steven Dewayne Simmons, Kevin Pollard (Eunice), Misty Nicole Rider (Chris J.), Brittany Lynn Rider and Nicole Rose Simmons; and her siblings, Maston Seals (Sam), Kenneth Seals, Johnny Seals, Cindy Causey (Clyde), Darlene Cooper (Randy) and Tammy Ward (Bill). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
