He was predeceased by: his parents, Bailey Cummings and Floda Cummings; and his brother Harold Glenn Cummings. He is survived by: his wife Louise Cummings of Murrells Inlet; his daughters, Phyllis Heaphy (Mick) of Murrells Inlet and Barbara Oyer (Russell) of Murrells Inlet; his grandchildren, Michael Heaphy (Jackie), Jeffrey Heaphy (James Graham), Brian June, Kimberly Bailey (Shane), Jonathan Oyer and Chelsea Schultz (Robert); his great grandchildren, John, Charlotte, Emma, Colin, Sadie and Annabelle; and his brother John Cummings of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with a Funeral Service to follow with limited seating due to Coronavirus restrictions.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to First United Methodist Church of Stony Point, NY.
