He is survived by: his husband Marvin Davis of Myrtle Beach; his brother Jack Smith of Arlington, TX; his sister-in-law Ellen Smith of Ashburn, VA; and also, Brian Stahley (Jenny) of Myrtle Beach, SC, David Stahley (Susanne) of Providence, RI, Terrence Davis (Janet) of Wheaton, Kevin Davis (Ann) of Columbus, OH, Brian Davis (Karen) of Sylvania, OH, Robert Davis (Lisa) of Oklahoma City, OK, Jeff Davis (Susan) of Dayton, OH and Todd Davis (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to New Direction Men's Shelter via First United Methodists Church of Myrtle Beach, which provides shelter for men, women, and children.
