He is survived by: his parents, Anna McDaniel of Conway and Joe McDaniel of Conway; his sister Cindy Poisson (Mark) of McDonough, GA; his niece Ashley Riley (Doug) of Socastee; and his nephew Austin Poisson of Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made for the Thad E. Saleeby Center.
