He is survived by: his wife Margie Abernathy; his children, Eric Abernathy (Laura), Rich Kreischer, Angie Abernathy Collins (Shane) and Valentene Kreischer-Dean (Larry); his grandchildren, Morgan Abernathy Harmer (Jeff), Madison Abernathy Small (Jeremy), Leonard Collins (Madeline), Richard Kreischer, Reec Kreischer, Kaedyn Boesch and Raeleigh Boesch; his great grandchildren, John Colton Woolard and Everly Anne Harmer; and his brother Alan "Boo" Abernathy (Larri).
