He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Keitt, Sr. and Vivian Brickle Keitt; and his sister Susan Dukes. He is survived by: his children, Dorethea DeWitt (Billy), Christopher Stubbs (Kimberly), Derrick Keitt, Alexandria Lewis (Jason) and Shane Jolly; his stepmother Joan Keitt; his sisters, June Williams (Charles) and Tina McDaniel; his brother-in-law Grover Dukes; his siblings' children, Lesley Edgemon (Ray), Krista Walling, Brandi Ferron (Tony), Britney Odum and John Dukes; his great-nephews, Hunter Dukes, Nicholas Halter (Tori), Matthew Edgemon, Jacob Walling and Colter James Waynick; and his great-niece Kayla Walling. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
