With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Byrd of Cordova, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Julius S. Gray and Brondell Felder Gray; her husband David Byrd; her brother Julius "Bubba" Gray; and her nephew Charles Hoffman.

She is survived by : her children, Richard Sutcliffe of Orangeburg, Shay Byrd (Heather) of Branchville and Crystal McAlhany (Chris) of Cordova; her grandchildren, Rachel Garrick, Daniel McAlhany, Kirkland McAlhany, Brody Byrd and Jacob Wade; her sister Marie Hoffman (Jitter); her nephew Robert Hoffman; and her niece Bonnie Benton.
