He is survived by : his former life partner Ruth Bowles of Martinville, Virginia.; his wife Alice Ford of Cottageville; his children, Jason, James, Jervis, Jerome (Jacquelin) and Jan (Robert); his siblings, Avery Penn (Violina) and Margaret Caldwell; and his siblings-in-law, Odell (Sylvia), Fred (Betty), Mack (Barbara), Ernest (Jacquelyn), Birtie (Tony) and Joyce. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
