She is survived by : her nephew Walter Smith; her children, Marjorie Perry, Samuel Gant (Diane), Charles Gant (Rose), Gale Kidd (Grady), Dennis Gantt (Lucinda), Richard Terry Gant (Rena), Phyllis Gant and Todd Perry (Monica); her stepchildren, Wendell Perry (Betty) and Audrey Perry; her grandchildren, Toris Perry, Ladon Perry, Gabriel Perry and Jamaal Gant; and her siblings, Ella Gant, Catherine Smith, Richard Gantt (Rose) and Joseph Gantt (Gloria). She is also survived by other grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stephens Funeral Home (1767 Jefferies Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Church (858 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488).
