It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wylie Joel Hopkins of Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wylie Andrew Hopkins and Helen Vincent Hopkins; his significant other Brenda Sue Hopkins; and his brothers, Leslie, Kenny, Jimmy and Waylon Hopkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renea Hopkins (Bobby Kennedy) and Crystal Roberts (Chris); his grandchildren, Jordan, Caleb Kennedy, CJ and Ryan Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Paiton, Claire, Junior, Marie Rose and Ryleigh Roberts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Belk Funeral Home - Darlington (229 W Broad St, Darlington, SC 29532). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
