He was predeceased by: his parents, Toy McLeeland Elder, Sr. and Leona Elder; and his siblings, Viola Kimbrell, Evelyn DePrete, Edward Elder and Charles Elder.
He is survived by: his spouse Gale Marlowe Elder; his sons, Len Elder (Angie) and Toy Elder, III (Christina); his brothers, James Elder, Harold Elder, Larry Elder (Janice), Donnie Elder (Doris) and Kenneth Elder; his grandchildren, Shelbi Dolman (Zack), Blaine Elder, Sarah Elder and Gavin Elder; and his great grandchildren, Camden Elder, Emory Kate Dolman and Laney Dolman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northbrook Baptist Church (1881 Boiling Springs Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29316). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
