He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Catherine Bowles Bowen; his parents, Charlie Lee Bowen and Sarah Louise Gaines Bowen; his sons, Michael Bowen of Easley and Mark Bowen (Jackie) of Pickens; his sister Mary Morris of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Paige, Alan, Hannah and Matthew Bowen.
