He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Hipp and Edna Hannon Hipp; his siblings, Helen Mull, Edgar Hipp and Major Hipp; and his grandchildren, Wade and Nathaniel Plumier.
He is survived by: his spouse Winona Baker Hipp; his daughters, Diane Ballew (Edward) of Easley, Teresa Talley (Perry) of Easley, Tammy Hipp of Easley and Sandra Plumier (Nick) of Hayesville, NC; his siblings, Ruth Nalley of Easley, Martha Freeman of Easley, Kenneth Hipp of Easley and Ronnie Hipp of Travelers Rest; his grandchildren, Michael McAlister and Jesse Plumier; and his great grandchild Amira McAlister.
