Othella Chase Evans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Othella Chase Evans (Clinton, South Carolina), born in Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Othella shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Othella farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sr. Chase and Viola Dendy Chase. She is survived by: her children, Angela Trapp (James) and Lorenzo'Trey'Evans III; and her siblings, Rodney Chase, Vicky Pitts and Carleta Chase. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sanders-Thompson Mortuary (1235 S Bell St, Clinton, SC 29325). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at the Orchard Park Memorial Garden.
