He was predeceased by: his son Ben Barnhardt Robinson; his sister Mary Elizabeth Robinson; and his sister-in-law Virginia Black Rubin of Greenville. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Black of Greenville; his children, Jim (Melissa) of Easley, Alan (Jeanne) of Greenville and Elizabeth Weaver (David) of Easley; his grandchildren, Katherine (Patricia), Ben (MaryAnn), Neal (Walt) and Mary (James Weaver); and his sister-in-law Julia Black Strader (Ray) of Lexington, NC..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley Presbyterian Church--Endowment, 200 S. First St., Easley, SC 29640, or to the charity of one's choice.
