He was predeceased by: his parents, Maler Simons and Bessie Simons; and his siblings, Richard, Alford, Lewis, Maler, Jr., Freddie Simons, Rosalee, Mary and Melvenia.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Simons; his daughters, Tanya Mazes and Co-Pastor; his son-in-law Pastor Anthony Bethel; his sister Frances Waddell (William); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Miller, Earlene Simons, Joan Jones and Janice Miller. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and caring friends.
