James Francis Wenthe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Francis Wenthe (Edisto Island, South Carolina), who passed away on May 22, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymund Wenthe and Elizabeth Wenthe. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Earl (Rebecca) and Mark Raymund (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Shira, Sam, Talia, Julia, Thomas, Susannah and Jane; and his siblings, Barbara McCarthy (Gene), Neil, Nancy Fisher (Donald), George, Martha Oare (Bob), Mary Mason (Gib), Phil (Linda) and Bill.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Frederick & St. Stephen Catholic Church (544 SC-174, Edisto Island, SC 29438).
Memorial donations may be made to Edisto Island Open Land Trust or Edisto Island Museum.
