He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Edward and Ella Mae Stone Matthews. He is survived by : his children, David Winetraub (Sam), Darrell Andrews and Amanda Anderson (Greg); his siblings, Dimpie Campbell, Carolyn Braddock (Allen), Leroy Matthews (Debbie), Larry Matthews (Sherrill), Ronnie Matthews (Ella Mae) and Frank Matthews; and his grandchildren, Fox Weatherford, Cameron Weatherford, Trey Weatherford, Sophia Jean and Drew Andrews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
