It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Rogers Morris of Effingham, South Carolina, born in Hartsville, South Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Heyward Rogers and Janie Pender Rogers; her husband James Quinton Morris; her daughter Wanda Morris Cox; and her sister Mary Beth Rogers Davis.

She is survived by : her daughter Barbara Owens (Timmy); her son-in-law Eddie Cox; her grandchildren, Stacy Cox Threadgill of Florence and Kimberly Owens Brown (Addison) of Aiken, SC; her great grandchildren, Austin, Katie, Ella and Reagan; and her brothers, Elbert Rogers (Betty) of Manning and Edgar Rogers of Florence. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, and extended family.

Due to Covid-19, social distancing will be observed.
