He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Percy DeLeon Hill and Eula Lea Floyd Hill; his wife Nancy Patricia Lee (Halloween); his children, Charles Wyette Hill and Jeanie Patricia Hill; his brothers, Lawrence and Charles Hill; his children, Michael Hill (Jonnie) of Effingham, SC, Sharon Kieselhorst (Larry) of Lexington, SC, Susan Kirby (Mike) of Effingham, SC, Kevin Hill (Sharon) of Effingham, SC and Dr. Crystal Chapman (David) of Florence, SC; his grandchildren, Hillary Kirby Powell (Taylor), Chase Alvin Kirby, Jonnie Michelle Hill, Grady Harold Chapman and Kevin James Chapman; and his great grandchild Liam Alton Powell.
