He was predeceased by : his parents, Blease Allen and Blanche Allen; and his former life partner Marilyn Johnson Allen. He is survived by : his wife Christine Allen; his children, John W. Allen (Amy) of Effingham and Lisa Estridge (Jamie) of Florence; his grandchildren, Chloe Allen, Landon Allen, Brianna Estridge, Clayton Estridge, Sierra Estridge, Jordan Collins, Noah Collins, Liam Harper and Lizzie Harper; and his siblings, Doug Allen, Eugene Allen, Jeanette Bryant, Mary Grimsley and Brenda Allen.
