He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarice Strickland Lane and Floyd Neal Lane. He is survived by : his wife Samantha Mitchell Lane; his children, Holly Lee (Michael), Ernest M. Lane (Macey) and John Basallote (Dawn); and his siblings, Neal Lane (Amy) and Reecie Freeman (Ricky). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
