He is survived by : his mother Melissa Sheffield Cooper; his foster mother Jodi Lynn Floyd of Effingham; his son River Wayne Rocket Sheffield; his close friend Sara Dutton Sheffield; his sisters, Samantha Lowder and Brandi Cooper; and his foster siblings, Amber Buddin (David) of Turbeville, Monica Tay Floyd (Leland Pate) of Coward, Charles "Les" Reedy (Liz) of Florence, Stanley Turtle of Effingham, Steven Avery of Columbia and Chris Magill of Lake City.
