He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Laurie and Leola Mae Stricklen Timmons; and his brother Richard Timmons. He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Cliatt Timmons; his children, Mary Lynn Benson (Chris) of Elgin, Malinda Ann Derington (Rob) of Lugoff and Russell L. Timmons, Jr. (Christie) of Winnsboro; and his siblings, Debra Byrd of Florence, Patricia Huckabee of Cheraw and Delbert Timmons of Effingham. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
