He was predeceased by : his parents, James Earl and Ruby Crowe Palmer. He is survived by : his children, Kathryn Palmer Hennett (Jake) of Boiling Springs, Tesa Lorene Cook of Spartanburg, James Douglas Palmer of Gray Court and Kenneth Michael Palmer of Enoree; and his siblings, Vickie Palmer Barrett of Enoree and James "Duck" Palmer of Woodruff. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
