With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lorraine Kormelink of Fair Play, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nils Josefson and Lorraine Josefson; and her stepmother Barbara Josefson. She is survived by: her husband Walter "Chuck" Kormelink of Fair Play; her daughters, Laura "Laury" K Gardner (Guy Victor) of Hartwell, GA and Mindy Lee Rook (Christopher) of Aurora, IL; her grandchildren, Riley Gardner Walker (Elias) of Powder Springs, GA, Jarrod Charles Rook of Romeoville, IL, Remington Katharine Rook of Aurora, IL and Delaney Priscilla Rook of Milwaukee, WI; her great grandchild Jordyn Briggs Rook; and her son-in-law Kevin Gardner of Hartwell, GA..
