It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfort Belin Sr. (Florence, South Carolina), born in Johnsonville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Eaddy Belin and William Floyd Belin; his siblings, Raymond, Comtrue, William Floyd, Aberon, Sr., Henry, Aquilla, Acener, Bertha and Bessie; his son Junior Goss; his son-in-law Harry L. Bennett; and his grandson Dem-Quan Royal.
He is survived by: his wife Minister Deborah Belin; his children, Alfort Belin, Jr., Anthony R. Belin, Sr. (Rose), H. Yetta Bennett, Joyce Wilkerson (Calvin), Rev. Dale Knight (James), Patricia Jasper (Starlin) and Naisha Byrd; his siblings, Alizer Jane Belin, Ajohn Belin, Sr. and Lucius Belin; and his siblings-in-law, Esaw Belin, LeVander Ellison, Azilee Jefferson, Sylvia Davis (Curtis), Dorothy Belin, Clara Belin and Christine Stuckey. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
