She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Jordan and Minnie Sellers Jordan; her son James Ronnie Samuel; and her siblings, Charles Jordan, Margaret McCall, Cora Ford and Neverscene Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Valerie Cleveland (Glen), Shirley Harris (Elestley) and Kenyatta Samuel; her siblings, Louise Talley (Louis), Priscilla Ford and Leroy Jordan (Debra); and her nieces, Gail Gregg and Linda Mack.
