She is survived by: her children, Linda (Holland Dean), Charles (Patricia), Alfred, Dallas (Barbara), Larry (Hiewot), Emanuel and Thonsel; her siblings, Alease Durant of Florence and Rockyfellow Byrd (Mary) of Baltimore, Maryland; her sisters-in-law, Mattie Pigatt of Florence and Azalee Pigatt of Florence; her goddaughter Patricia DeVaughn (Mike); and also Angela Minter. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other friends.
