He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Johnson Hewitt of Florence; his children, Angela Hewitt Prosser (Wendell) of Florence and Charles Frederick Hewitt, Jr. (Sylvia) of Florence; his grandchildren, Lauren Prosser of Florence, Hallie Prosser Harvin (Joseph) of Florence, Carolina of Florence, Madison of Florence and Charlie Hewitt of Florence; his brother Gene Hewitt; and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
