Wooten Sr. (Florence, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Janie Metts Wooten and George Wooten; his wife Elva Johnston Wooten; and his son Timothy Johnston Wooten. He is survived by: his sons, David F. Wooten, Jr. (Terri) of Hickory, NC and George Russell "Rusty" Wooten of Effingham; his grandchildren, David Wooten, III (Kristin), Warren Wooten (Garrett) and Teagan Wooten; and his brother James Wooten. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
