He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Wesley and Annie Laura Ruff Jones. He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Spell; his sons, Timothy Doyle Jones (Laura) of Ferguson, NC, Brian Wesley Jones (Julie) of Summerton and Kenneth Gordon Jones (Melissa) of Florence; his granddaughter Neven Bryn Jones of Ferguson, NC.; and his siblings, Glenda Wood of Columbia, Muriel "Mickey" Ray of Ooltewah, TN and Keith Jones (Ann) of Florence. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (100 Cherokee Rd, Florence, SC 29501). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the same location.
