He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin H. Lee and Lillie Ruth Langston Lee; his siblings, Wilbur H. Lee, Alburn L. Lee, Francis Lee, Louise McGee Register and Addie Lynette Miles; and his great grandchild Lauren Hicks.

He is survived by: his wife Ada Mae Miles Lee; his children, Cathy Lee Kunkle (Russell) and Allen E. Lee (Teresa); and his brother Sidney "Al" Lee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Free Will Baptist Church, 235 W. Bazen Road, Pamplico, SC 29583 or McLeod Hospice, 1203 E. Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506.
