He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Greer and Paul S. Greer; his stepmother Lucille F. Greer; and his brother Paul Greer. He is survived by: his children, Maria G. Schubert (Rick) and Jason C. Greer (Natalie); his grandchildren, Meagan Lawhon, Christian Aikens, Sarah Cathryn Schubert, Stephen Schubert and Emma Schubert; his sister Emily Amburn of Edenton, NC; and his sister-in-law Shirley Greer of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
