He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Taylor and Quinnie Mae Grimsley Taylor; and his siblings, Willie "Son" Taylor, Jr., Frank Taylor, Eva Mae Gaddy, Doris Emanuel and Ruby Legette.
He is survived by: his wife Rena Mae Hunt Taylor of Florence; his children, Kevin Hunt (Tara) of Lamar, Ryan, Lori Deas (Herman) of Florence, Mitzi Jones (Alan) of Florence and Kayla Willing (Brandon) of Florence; and his sister Shelby Watts of Dillon.
