He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Isgett McLaughlin; his children, McLaughlin IV (Christyn), Ashley Ann McLaughlin, Laurie Kendall McLaughlin and Elizabeth Claussen Garris (Kyle); and his grandchildren, Caroline Lammon (David), Charlie Mac Toman, Tucker Toman, Clint "Bonk" Parks, Jr. of Ellie Parks, IJL, McLaughlin V, Gabriel "Gabe" Taylor McLaughlin, Carly Warren and Cameron Warren.
