She was predeceased by: her parent Sydney Luther DuBose; and her husband Vernon Durant Pigate. She is survived by: her parent Lillian Ham DuBose; her children, Steve D. Pigate (Vickie) and Michelle Summerford (Curt); her grandchildren, Hannah McKenzie, Joshua Summerford, Zachary Summerford and Jessica Summerford; and her sisters, Sylvia Oliver, Sandra Bailey (Bill), Pam Bass (Lenny) and Rose Howard.
