It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Mae Shannon (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Cabbagestalk of Sumter and Linda Marie Dixon of Sumter; and her spouse Carroll Nelson Shannon. She is survived by: her children, Betty Cabbagestalk of Florence, Stanley Cabbagestalk of Florence and Dennis Cabbagestalk of Elizabeth. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nephews; nieces; other relatives; and friends.
