She was predeceased by: her father George Michael Stokes; and her son Joseph Pierce, III. She is survived by: her mother Betty Faye Boykin Atkinson; her children, McKenzie Stevens, Sierra Stevens, Asia Stokes, Macey Stokes, Mason Stokes, Waylon Stokes and Heaven Stokes; her sisters, Jeannie Byrd, Samantha Morrison and Regina Tyner; and her grandmother Ruby Stokes. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
