He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Columbus Carnell and Bela Benton Carnell; and his wife Esther Dora Carnell. He is survived by: his children, John Carnell (Miriam) of Florence, Donna Nissen (Ronnie) of Florence, Connie Weaver of Florence, Tina Carnell of Florence and Vanessa Oliver (Joseph A.) of Florence; and his grandchildren, Jeff Coleman, Jessica N. Ward, Chris Coleman, Joshua Carnell, Tracy Strickland, Jared Carnell, Brooke Oliver and Landon John Oliver. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
