She was predeceased by : her husband John Billy Ford; her parents, Bessie Gibbs and Benjamin Gibbs of Timmonsville; her son Barry Dean Ford; and her siblings, Evelyn Carter, Janie Mae Boyce, Roy Gibbs, Grady Gibbs and David Gibbs.

She is survived by : her children, Gerald Ford (Gloria) of Florence and Shirley Player (Mike) of Florence; and her daughter-in-law Dana Eskridge Ford of St. Marys, Georgia.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Agape Hospice, 1516 W Palmetto Street, Florence, SC.
