She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Bates and DeEtta Bates; her husband Kenneth MacIver; her grandchild Lindsay R. MacIver; and her brother Robert Bates.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Holly), Kevin (Ruth) and Brian MacIver; her grandchildren, Tara Marra (Christopher), Janelle Rosenberry (Mike), Kenneth MacIver (Michelle), Ethan MacIver (Alexa) and Noah MacIver (Emily); and her brother Jack Bates (Melanie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in her name to Courage of Carly Fund.
