It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise James Amerson (Florence, South Carolina), who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Harrell James and Charles Preston James; her husband Donald L. Amerson; her grandson Rudi Lynch; and her brother Charles "Charlie" James.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Amerson (Tammie) of Florence, Todd Amerson (Lynn) of Florence and Marie Lynch of Florence; and her siblings, Ann Jackson of Darlington and Wayne James (Lola) of Hartsville. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current COVID-19 concerns, a graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3061 Wesley Chapel Road, Lamar, SC, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
