He is survived by: his son Mike Mixon (Robin); his sister Patricia Hardee; and his stepchildren, Eugene Ammons (Sally), Betty Jo Jordan (Harrel) and Brenda Blackmon (Chip). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
