She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Meridth and Mary Alice Sawyer Meridth; and her brother Ronnie Meridth. She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Newell; her granddaughter Gemma Newell; her brothers, Devon Meridth of Johnsonville and Glenn Meridth (Helen) of San Antonio, Texas; her nephews, Jason Meridth and Joshua Meridth of San Antonio, Texas; her sister-in-law Genese Meridth; her nephews, Clint Meridth and Micheal Meridth of Johnsonville; and her friends, Pam Jackson and Susan Jeter.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Darlington County Humane Society.
