She is survived by: her children, John Pete Costas (Marti), Maria Costas (Hobart Robbins), Vicki Underwood (Al) and JoAnn Nance (Clyde); and her grandchildren, John Costas (Michelle), Ashley Costas Young (Jody), Nicholas Costas (Nikki), Carson Nance, Emily Nance Edwards (Will), Jenna Nance Cooper (Caleb) and Win Underwood (Emily). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society / Constantina V. Palles Education Fund at Transfiguration of Our Savior Greek Orthodox Church, 2990 S. Cashua Drive, Florence, SC.
