He is survived by: his wife Alice Faye Powell Metzgar; his daughters, Elizabeth Soles, Rhonda Dennis and April Schuchmann (John); his grandchildren, Jerry Dennis (Whitney) of Brandon Dennis, P. J., Katie Schuchman and Megan Schuchman; his great grandchild Trey Soles; and his brother Bruce Metzgar.
