He is survived by: his wife Susan Rainey Collins; his daughter Mary Collins Kersey; his son-in-law Justin Kersey; his son Braxton Staley Collins; his granddaughter Collins Elizabeth Kersey; his sister Cathy Johnson; his parents-in-law, Lee and Suzanne Rainey; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Jones (Danny), Lee Ann Price (David), Lee Jackson Rainey (Sandy), Nathaniel Rainey, Jean Daniels, Joyce Campbell (Don) and Peggy Frazier (Terry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
